HISTORY

My journey as an entrepreneur didn’t begin in a classroom - it started on a polluted beach. A post-rainstorm surf rendered me sick and stagnant as a result of wastewater issues and land-management.  What began as a bug turned into a persistent pursuit of ways to help solve water and environmental issues. I built a non-profit to map waterways, think Street View for rivers. I built (and sold) an environmental consultancy to turn adversaries into allies and fund clean water infrastructure. Ultimately, I discovered the potential to turn organic waste products into environmental commercial gold. Upcycle optimizes the benefits of fertilizer, chemical, native biology and biological products into one, helping soil break free from chemical dependency. It is truly profit and principle working in harmony.
